this branch has the best after sales service we have come across. I had ongoing problems with a computer (probably because of my lack of skill) and their guys in the repair department spent time with me to sort it out. This is non chargeable time and it was more than a few minutes. WOW ! the crowd to buy from

I went to Harvey Norman to buy a laptop and no one wanted to help. I was there for about 20 minutes in the computer section. In the end I went to Powerstore where I got excellent service from a tall guy in glasses who really knew his stuff. Best advice is never buy from Harvey Norman, their staff are substandard. The Laptop cost me $356 more though, but worth it because of the salesperson.

Harvey Norman & there 'extended warranty'

When you buy an apple, make sure your extended warranty is with apple, NOT harvey norman. Turns out after 3 years of owning a high end apple with a warranty I no longer have a computer. Extended warranty means jack shit your on your own anyway. no help from apple, no help from harvey norman, no one. just $3500 spent, no computer & a total cost of $6000 to find to get a new computer. I will never shop at Harvey norman again & if i had a choice, I would never buy Apple either.
