I couldn't get an appointment at Marilyn's on Shore rd in Remuera ( who are in my opinion the worlds best hair dresser - I have lived in 7 countries) Anyway I decide to try out Stephen Marr in Newmarket and it was the worst cut and colour I have ever had. What went wrong you ask? - what went right more like it.... The salon is really cold with incredibly uncomfortable chairs ( both for cutting and washing). the water at the basin varied wildly from scalding hot to ice cold while she washed my hair. The hairdresser dried my hair out so badly using god knows what products. The colour already has regrowth after two weeks as it was so badly applied. I have worn my hair up since the cut is all over the place with a badly cut fringe. at the end of this torture I was asked to cough up $250! All in all a horrific experience that is supposed to be something of a treat. Don't go there it's over priced and hideous
